STUDY PROGRAM PROFILE
The Master of Science in Psychology is an advanced degree program focusing on research development and analytical skills within the field of psychology. This program is designed to produce highly competent graduates capable of conducting quality psychological research and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of psychological science.
The Master of Science in Psychology program offers two areas of specialization: Educational Psychology and Community and Development Psychology. The curriculum integrates both theoretical and practical courses, aiming to equip students with the essential knowledge and expertise required to become reliable, proficient psychological researchers.

COURSES
The Master of Psychology program operates on a Semester Credit System (SKS). Students are required to complete a minimum of 63 credits to successfully graduate with a Master of Science in Psychology degree.
The 63-credit curriculum is structured into two main course categories: Core Master’s Courses and Specialization Courses. The Core Master’s Courses are mandatory for all students, regardless of their chosen track. The Specialization Courses are tailored specifically to each concentration and must be completed in full. Additionally, students are given the flexibility to choose 2 (two) elective courses from other specializations to suit their academic interests.
Students enrolled in the Master of Psychology program are classified as full-time students. All lectures are conducted in person (on-campus) from Monday to Friday, starting at 08:00 WIB. Classes take place at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Airlangga, Campus B, Jl. Airlangga 4-6, Surabaya 60286.
GRADUATE PROFILE
Graduates of the Master of Psychology program are envisioned to become:
- Non-Clinical Psychological Consultants Experts in educational, social, industrial/organizational, and health psychology who maintain high professional standards, integrity, innovation, and critical insight. They are equipped to address human and behavioral issues using psychological frameworks through interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approaches.
- Researchers or Academics Professionals in the fields of educational, social, industrial/organizational, and health psychology who possess high integrity, innovation, and critical thinking skills. They are prepared to contribute to the advancement of psychological science, apply their expertise through interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approaches, and effectively communicate their research findings to both the scientific community and the general public.

4 MAJORS
Graduates of the Master of Psychology majoring in educational psychology are expected to be able to:
- Researchers or academics in the field of educational psychology who have integrity, are innovative, and are critical in contributing to the development of psychological science and its application in an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary manner and in communicating the results of their research to the scientific community and society.
- A professional, integrated, innovative, and critical psychology consultant in the field of educational psychology who is able to solve human problems using psychological disciplines through an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approach.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

- A minimum Bachelor's degree GPA of 2.75.
- Multidisciplinary intake (applicants from non-psychology majors are welcome to apply).
- A personal statement outlining the applicant's motivation for joining the study program (1000 words), which must include:
- The relevance of the study program to personal growth.
- The relevance of the study program to professional career goals.
- Future plans after completing the study program.
- Mandatory completion of the matriculation program.
- Prior research experience, demonstrated by a research summary or proof of scientific publication.
