UNAIR’s Faculty of Psychology Holds a Joint Research Workshop with Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf

On February 3–4, 2026, the Faculty of Psychology at Airlangga University held a research workshop titled “Collaborative Research Development and Methodological Training” in collaboration with Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. The workshop was attended by doctoral students and faculty members on a limited basis and featured PD Dr. phil. Frauke Schultze-Lutter, Associate Professor at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany, will be a guest speaker.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the research capacity of the academic community, particularly in drafting PhD proposals and deepening research methodology. Additionally, this event served as a collaborative space for exchanging ideas, experiences, and perspectives on research development at the doctoral level.

On the first day, the workshop focused on discussing how to develop research methodologies tailored for doctoral dissertations. On the second day, participants were invited to present their research. Following the presentations, the session continued with an open discussion and feedback. This session was conducted interactively and constructively, helping participants receive relevant input to advance their research to the next stage. Participants’ enthusiasm was evident throughout the workshop, particularly during the presentation and interactive discussion sessions.

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Psychology at Airlangga University reaffirms its commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through the improvement of higher education and research, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through collaboration with Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
