Abstract

Workplace well-being gives so many positive impacts. However, difficult situations at work are often unavoidable and reduced well-being. The factors that can improve workplace well-being there were self-compassion and perceived organizational-support. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-compassion and perceived organizational-support on workplace well-being. Participants selected using a convenience-sampling technique and collected 109 private workplaces. This study used modified measuring instruments from WWBI, SCS-SF and SPOS. The data was analyzed with multiple linear regression techniques and Pearson’s correlation matrix analysis. The results showed self-compassion has an effect on workplace well-being (=14.1%), perceived organizational-support has an effect on workplace well-being (=61.3%), and both of the independent variables simultaneously affect workplace well-being being. Therefore, the demographic factors such as age, gender, education, and wages have no correlation on workplace well-being.
